Description
Since having kids, i've realised that keeping certain things close at hand but out of sight is pretty important. Whether that's sneaky snacks or something more personal!
This nightstand tray appears to be a nice spot to rest your phone and any other pocket junk at the end of the day, but if you press down on one end of the top surface, it'll lift up allowing you to store stuff beneath!
Storage space underneath is roughly 10mm.
If a phone is placed on top, the pivot won't work due to the weight, securing whatever's inside until the phone is removed.
I added some rubber feet to finish of the look and add a shadow gap to the bottom of the tray. The feet add some grip and are a nice extra touch but not necessary.
Easy to print and even easier to use with no complicated mechanisms or over engineered parts.
