Borzoi Bust

This Borzoi bust captures the aristocratic elegance and unmistakable silhouette of this noble sighthound. Sculpted in a poised three-quarter profile, the elongated head and finely tapered muzzle create a striking, flowing line that immediately defines the breed. The gentle downward angle of the nose and the refined cranial proportions reflect the Borzoi’s classic, dignified expression.

The sculptural treatment emphasizes the breed’s hallmark features: the long, narrow skull, soft almond-shaped eye placement, and delicately folded ear set slightly back against the head. The ear detail is subtle yet intentional, preserving the Borzoi’s streamlined outline without disrupting the fluid contour of the head.

Texturing throughout the neck and chest conveys the characteristic silky, slightly wavy coat. Rather than heavy curls, the fur is rendered in elongated, directional strands that follow the natural fall of the hair. This layered modelling creates depth and movement, reinforcing the breed’s elegant, almost statuesque presence.
