I designed this model to capture the soul and muscular lines of this iconic naked bike. The model is easy to print, requires no supports, and looks best when printed face-down on a textured PEI plate for a premium, matte finish.
ā” Ready to Print (Bambu Profile):Ā
I highly recommend using the included Print Profile. It is fully optimized and already contains the motorcycle and the 4 required wall spacers perfectly arranged on the build plate. Just hit print from your Bambu Handy app!
š Raw STL Files (For other slicers): If you are downloading the raw .stl files to use in a different slicer, please make sure to print:
- 1x Gsr.stl
- 4x Spacer1.stl
Print Settings:
- Filament: Black PLA (great contrast on light walls or OSB wood)
- Layer Height: 0.2mm Standard
- Infill: 15%
- Supports: NO ā
- Bed Adhesion: Make sure your textured PEI bed is clean and well-leveled.
š ļø Mounting Tip (3D Shadow Effect):Ā
Instead of mounting it flush against the wall, use the printed cylindrical spacers. Glue the 4 spacers to the back of the bike (wheels, engine, tank) with some superglue (cyanoacrylate) and then attach it to the wall or a wooden panel. The projected shadow will give incredible depth to the piece! Happy printing!
