Kinger appears erratic and paranoid, incapable of brave acts. He also seems to have gone insane during his time in the circus, as shown when he starts acting randomly. It is implied that he is distracted, as he is often seen forgetting that people are near him and gets scared when he sees them. Kinger also seems to be interested in insects, as he is sometimes shown rambling about an "insect collection"
Kinger is an alder wood-colored king chess piece. He has cartoonish white hands separate from his body and 2 realistic round eyes unevenly placed on his face. He wears a royal purple cloak with a fluffy white lining and dark brown spots
