This is a unique and creative articulated hand model. Its appearance is partially inspired by the hand design of Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus Gen3, with the structure further optimized and adjusted specifically for 3D printing.
Once printed and fully assembled, the model can flexibly make all kinds of hand gestures. It can easily achieve simple poses such as making a fist and waving, as well as more complex sign language gestures.
Installation Tips:
Install the fingers according to the colors shown in the illustration.
If you accidentally mix up the finger models before installation, you can distinguish them as follows:
- Index finger and little finger: Use the three longest segments.
- Ring finger: Employ the three thinnest segments.
- Thumb: Select the two thickest segments.
If the printed model is too tight to assemble, please first check the opening direction of the slots and find the best way to insert the parts. If it still cannot be fitted properly, it is most likely due to printing tolerance. You can carefully sand the joint positions with a file.
Tip for Solving Loose Joints of the Model
After the model has been used for a period of time, if the ball joints become loose, follow these steps: Disassemble the model, apply transparent quick-drying nail polish to the ball joints, wait for it to dry completely, then reassemble the model. The joint damping will be restored.

模型活动一段时间后,若球头关节出现松动,可按以下步骤操作:拆卸模型,在球头关节处涂抹透明速干指甲油,待其完全干透后重新安装,即可恢复关节阻尼感。
Printing Tips: As some parts of the model have a small contact surface with the heated bed, they may detach from the heated bed during the printing process. To increase the printing success rate, please clean the printing plate with dish soap and spray glue before printing. Using a low - temperature warming printing plate can significantly enhance the printing success rate.
Feel free to leave a comment if you have any suggestions or questions about the model. When problems occur, please tell apart whether the issue is caused by the model itself, the printer, the filament, or improper operation and installation on your own part. I will block users who blindly attribute printing failures to the model and leave a one-star rating simply because they are unable to troubleshoot and fix problems by themselves. Such behavior greatly undermines the efforts of open-source creators.
