Description

This model is a replacement shell for the AMS Internal Hub Unit (Bambu Lab AMS).

The original part is known to break over time. Unfortunately, this component is not available as a standalone spare part — it is only sold as part of the full hub assembly:

When this piece fails, it typically causes continuous filament loading issues, often making the AMS partially or completely unusable.

This design provides a reinforced alternative, while maintaining full compatibility with the original hub assembly.
It installs without any modification and preserves the original geometry, with added strength in the most critical areas.

  • ✅ Bambu Lab AMS
  • ❌ Not compatible with AMS Lite / AMS Pro

 

🖨️ Print Settings

Two 3MF profiles are included:

  • Profile optimized for 0.2 mm nozzle
  • Profile optimized for 0.4 mm nozzle

👉 Recommended: use the 0.2 mm nozzle profile for best accuracy and detail.

  • Print time:
    • ~28 min (0.4 mm nozzle)
    • ~38 min (0.2 mm nozzle)
  • Weight: ~1.2 g

 

🧵 Recommended Materials

  • ✅ PLA
  • ✅ PETG

Not recommended:

  • ❌ Filled materials (not necessary)
  • ❌ High-temperature materials (ASA, ABS, etc.)

  • Reinforced design targeting common failure points of the original part
  • No modification required for installation
  • Tolerances tested for proper fit with the original hub
