  • Google Pixelsnap Wireless Charger x 1: Yeah, you need this. How did you think you were going to use this then?

Description

Description of the model:

A phone standard with a modern, sleek design made for the Google Pixelsnap. It can be used in landscape (horizontal) and portrait (vertical) mode.

I've only tried the fitting of the Google Pixel snap. The diameter of the circle is 56.15 (it fits a puck of 56 mm). If you've tried it on any other wireless chargers that also fit, let me know. I've put much time and effort in this model.

I hope you like this model.

Dimensions of the Google Pixelsnap I found in my 'study':

  • Diameter of the Pixelsnap: 56 mm (to give it a secure fit I made the hole 56.15 mm)
  • Height of the Pixelsnap: 5.4 mm
  • Diameter of the cable: 3mm (any 3 mm hole will fit securely without damaging the cable
  • Diameter of the thicker cable part between the puck and the cable: 4mm (the same goes for this)

These are all my test models:

I've printed 5 test pucks to try and find the exact right size for the Google Pixelsnap to fit in. It was a bit difficult, because the puck should have a thight fit. Otherwise the charger would come out of the hole everytime I would remove my phone from the stand.

The small blue cube was for finding the diameter of the cable of the Google Pixelsnap. Luckily I got it right the first time.

The stand on the photo was a prototype of the version I uploaded to Makerworld. Only this stand did not fit any part of the google pixelsnap. A waste of filament, I know. I am hoping this model pay the filament costs back to me.

Boost Me (for free)

If you like this model, I would appreciate a boost. Every boost goes to my 3D modeling learning proces and the filament for it. 😂
