I created this revolver style fidget spinner complete with a handle and a silencer for a cool take on a fidget spinner. I used my revolver cylinder model and revamped it to be able to incorporate a handle and a cylinder which both keep the cylinder in place but allow the spinning of the revolver spinner.
The model is set on 2 plates for separate colors and is also set for print by object so the bullets can be a separate color from everything else as well.
The handle and silencer are on a plate and take about 1 hour to print. The cylinder and bullets are on another plate about take about 1.5 hours to print. Total filament use is just over 51G for model and supports together. Supports are used and needed about 9G. I have normal supports on as it allows for very easy removal and clean model parts after removal.
Assembly is straightforward, check out the pictures to see the different stages as well as below broken down comments.
-Insert the longer rod cylinder side into the hole on the handle with glue for a more permanent fit.
-Insert the smaller rod cylinder side into the small hole of the silencer part with glue.
-Insert the bullets into the handle side cylinder and spin.
Remove the bullets and place them back in as you want to as part of the fun.
Enjoy your fidget spinning revolver model!!!
