Description
đ ď¸ Repair Ring for Cordless Handheld Vacuum (Housing Fix)
Has your mini vacuum cleaner developed a crack in its housing, making it impossible to screw it together tightly? Before you throw it away: This repair ring will save your device!
On many compact car vacuums, the plastic housing near the twist lock cracks due to vibrations or over-tightening. As a result, the housing loses its grip and suction power drops. This ring is simply pushed over the cracked area from the outside, clamping the housing back together precisely, so the thread can grip perfectly again.
đ Sizing & Customization
Since there are many different models of mini handheld vacuums, this ring is designed as a base model.
- Measure the outer diameter of your vacuum housing at the cracked area.
- Use the Scale function in your slicer (e.g., Bambu Studio) to adjust the ring to your exact required dimensions.
- Tip: Print the ring about 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm smaller than measured for a tight, secure "press-fit".
⨠Features / Highlights
- Eco-Friendly: Repair instead of throwing away â extends the lifespan of your cordless vacuum.
- Perfect Pressure: Provides even, concentric pressure on the cracked component.
- Universal: Works for many brands and shapes thanks to easy scaling.
đ ď¸ Print Settings & Materials
â ď¸ Important Note: The settings in the pre-configured .3mf file are fully optimized for maximum clamping strength. Please do not change them, unless you are adjusting the overall scale.
- Material: PETG/ASA/ABS is highly recommended! It is tougher than PLA and won't snap easily when pushed over the housing under tension. It also handles summer heat better if the vacuum stays in your car.
- Walls: Designed with extra wall loops (perimeters) so the ring can exert the necessary force without warping over time.
đŚ Assembly
- Clean the vacuum housing.
- Slide the printed ring carefully over the housing until it firmly encloses the cracked area.
- Screw the vacuum back together as usual â the thread should now grip tightly!
