Description

Master Chief: Airborne (Parachute Remix)

This model is an action-packed remix of the figure inspired by the iconic Master Chief from the HALO universe, specifically modified to be attached to an improvised parachute (like the one made from a plastic bag in the photo). It’s perfect for outdoor play or as a dynamic addition to your collection.

What’s new in this remix?

  • Grips for the parachute: The hands have been adjusted with added grips to securely hold the strings or the edges of a parachute.
  • Print Optimization: The character's geometry has been slightly tweaked for better durability during landings.
  • Dynamic Pose: The figure looks great both mid-flight and displayed on a shelf.

How to build the parachute

To get your Master Chief fly smoothly, proceed as follows:

  1. Take a lightweight plastic bag (e.g., a grocery or sandwich bag).
  2. Attach the bag to the Master Chief´s grips.
  3. Toss him into the air and watch the Spartan in action!

Recommended Print Settings

  • Material: PETG is recommended for better impact resistance during landings, but PLA works fine for display. If you want to use the PLA for airborne actions as well, make sure your filament is dry enough to avoid its fragilness.
  • Infill: 15–20% (avoid making it too heavy, or it will descend too quickly).
  • Walls: 4-6 to make it strong enough.
  • Supports: Yes (standard supports should be easy to remove).
  • Layer Height: 0.16 mm to capture the fine details of the MJOLNIR armor.

Credits: This model is a remix based on the original design by Finthalva (great job, btw!). If you enjoy this airborne version, please leave a "Like" and share photos of your drops!
