Tom and Jerry and Spike Car Air Vent Pinwheel
Print Profile(3)

Description
As a child, my favorite scene was Tom chasing Jerry, only to end up being chased by Spike himself. I hope you all enjoy this work
The inspiration came from the comments section of Lin Jiaju's multi-color printed Tom and Jerry fidget spinner toy. However, making a pinwheel isn't my strength, so I looked around and found that most versions required additional bearings. Coincidentally, I found the car pinwheel model by mara3905395437, which was moved from the international site to the domestic site. It requires no additional bearings and has a very clever design. It makes almost no sound at low speeds, with noticeable sound only at high speeds. You can click the link directly to download the pinwheel
The pinwheel's impeller defaults to counter-clockwise rotation after installation. If you want it to spin clockwise, simply mirror the impeller along the X-axis after downloading. Similarly, the three characters generated with the keychain generator are double-sided graphics. The bottom graphic has the head facing left, and the top graphic has the head facing right and is set to ironed. My actual photos show the bottom version (head facing left) printed on a textured build plate. You can choose to use the bottom or top version, and whether ironing is needed, based on your specific situation or preference
A small tip: if you use the bottom graphic, set the print order in the slicer software to print the color that most impacts details first, which is black in this case, for the best result. Otherwise, like my Jerry, details such as the eyebrows might have flaws. I have already set a custom order in the model, so you can check it again
If this model is placed in a car, you must also consider high temperatures. If direct sunlight exposure when the vehicle is parked cannot be avoided, please try to print with PETG material. PLA will likely not last more than an hour in a car under summer sunlight >_<. Of course, there's no problem if it's placed indoors with air conditioning or a fresh air vent. (If you say your car is a new energy vehicle and you keep the air conditioning on to maintain the interior temperature while parked, then just ignore what I said above ^_^)
By the way, brushing the ends of the blue impeller white with a white acrylic pen for Tom's feet will perfectly replicate the animation effect

P.S.1 It's really troublesome not being able to access the international site now, making it impossible to communicate with international peers. Why does Bambu Lab still enable the automatic upload feature to the international site? Since it's enabled but doesn't provide an easy way to communicate, it's truly frustrating. The pinwheel link above is for the Chinese site; if international friends cannot access it, you can try searching for the username, it might be found. I can't currently access the international site to confirm if the username is correct >_<
P.S.2 Summer has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere, and PLA is indeed not robust enough. My own car was parked under a carport, and even without direct sunlight, the model showed visible deformation, and the pinwheel might also not spin smoothly. This once again highlights how high car interior temperatures can get. Never leave children or pets in the car, and do not place flammable items on the dashboard
