Suspended knife-sharpner (with clampy clips)

Hanging sharpener for knives and scissors to be used with abrasive papers (wet with water). The dimensions of the abrasive paper strip are approximately 27-28 x 230 mm; I used abrasive paper bought online, cutting it to the desired size and using very fine grit paper (from 1000 to 7000)

The hanging abrasive paper (NOT stiff and taut) should easily conform to the knife's bevel without needing special adjustments for the sharpening angle.

I tried it with some knives and a pair of scissors, and the results are satisfactory.

To easily and quickly secure the abrasive paper strip, I used two “clampy clips” fastened with a screw to the structure (to improve the clip's grip on the abrasive paper, I covered the clips with small pieces of 1 mm thick adhesive EVA foam)
