Description
This Answer Flip Board is a simple quiz response system featuring a fully mechanical design. All components can be fabricated entirely through 3D printing, eliminating the need for metal parts or batteries. The device utilizes a flip-display mechanism to instantly indicate the first responder, providing clear and intuitive visual feedback—such as correct (O) or incorrect (X), or any symbols of your choice.
Unlike traditional electronic buzzers, this system operates without electricity, making it more accessible, safer, and user friendly. With its simple structure and easy assembly, it is well-suited for classroom interaction, competitions, and recreational activities, allowing users to enjoy engaging quiz games anytime, anywhere.
Please note that this product is designed without a sound mechanism and provides visual feedback only, rather than producing a buzzing sound like traditional quiz buzzers.
Assembly Instructions
1.Components after removing supports and brims.
(Brim on Answer Board and supports on the Base and Outer Shell.)

2.Insert the Clip to the Answer Board.

Make sure the direction is correct, flat plane facing outward.
Press firmly to secure the clip and prevent it from loosening.

3.Install the Springs onto the Base.
Ensure the orientation matches the reference image.

4.Insert the Answer Board into the center of the Springs.
Keep the symbol side facing forward. Tilt the board approximately 30° forward while attaching it to the springs.
(The greater the forward tilt, the stronger the rebound force. This can help restore performance if the board becomes loose over time. A 30° tilt is recommended for initial installation. )

Once released, the board should return to a horizontal position.

5.Attach the Lateral Shells, Insert the Answer Board shaft into the side holes.

Ensure the holes are slightly aligned toward the Base.

6.Slide the Push Button into the hook of the Base.

7.Press the Answer Board into place until it clicks securely into the Base.

8.Install the Outer Shell onto the Base.

9.Finish!
Assembly is complete. Enjoy your silent quiz system — Answer Flip Board.



STRONGLY RECOMMENDED MATERIALS
The Answer Flip Board functions with both PLA and PETG, but PETG is recommended for better durability.
The springs should at least be printed in PETG to maintain elasticity during long-term compression.

Performance Comparison
The spring of the O answer flip board was printed in PETG, while the X answer flip board was in PLA.
The O (PETG) remained stable after compressed for 2 days, yet the X (PLA) showed deformation after only 2 hours.
Maintenance Tip
If the Answer Board becomes loose or does not return properly, slightly increase the spring tension (see step 4) to restore performance.
