Hand-drawn robot

Handy under-the-desk holster for your compact pistol. This holster will help you shield yourself from danger without exposing your hand by securely mounting the pistol under a desk or table. Can be scaled to fit a variety of pistols.

Securely holds certain small-framed pistols discreetly under a desk, table, or other sturdy horizontal surface. Can also be mounted vertically (open end up) in a vehicle or boat, but care should be taken when mounting to ensure that firearm cannot vibrate out on rough terrain.

To use this holster:

  1. Mount it using the integrated mounting holes and sufficiently sized wood screws or other appropriate mounting hardware. Holster should be mounted with the larger opening facing the position that the pistol will be drawn from.
  2. While keeping your finger outside of the trigger guard (always!), slide the pistol barrel-first into the wide end of the holster.
  3. Press snugly into place using pressure on the handle of the pistol to push it into place
  4. To draw the pistol, simply grip the handgrip and pull it out of the holster. The light resistance will hold the firearm in place but will not impede withdrawal.

NOTES:

  • Depending on the flexible filament used, the holster could take some time to mold to the shape of the firearm. During this time, it may be harder to holster and unholster, but over time it will flex to fit.
  • Some filaments shrink after printing more than others. If you find that the pistol doesn't fit into the holster, scale it up slighty (2%-5%) and reprint it.
  • This design will work for many different pistols, but may need to be scaled up or down to fit your particular model. A dimensions drawing is included to help estimate the amount of scaling required to fit your pistol. Please check the actual dimensions of your pistol against the diagram and perform the necessary scaling before printing.

IMPORTANT: This model is designed to be printed in TPU or other flexible filament to allow the holster to flex around the firearm, much the way a Kydex holster does. Printing it with a non-flexible filament like PLA, PETG, or ABS will not provide enough grip on the firearm and risks marring its surface. Please print this model using only a flexible filament like TPU.
