Cable C-Clamps for Wall Chases
Print Profile(1)

Description
cmykraftshop
Practical 3D models designed to print well. Built with real printers, real tolerances, and real use in mind.
Small clips for fixing cables inside the chases you cut into brick or concrete
walls during renovations.
The teeth bite into the wall crevice and the C grips the cable — when you
plaster over, the cable can't shift, so you don't end up with deformations
or kinks under the finish.
9 cable sizes, one .3mf, one plate per size:
4 · 5 · 6 · 7 · 8 · 9 · 10 · 11 · 12 mm
Plates are named by cable Ø. Open in Bambu Studio, slice whichever you need.
Default body: 15 mm long, 1.2 mm wall.
Sizing
Match the clip to the cable's outer jacket diameter. Snug push-fit — should
hold the cable without squeezing the insulation.
Rough guide for EU mains (NYM-J):
- 4–5 mm → low-voltage, doorbell, Cat6, speaker, thermostat
- 6–7 mm → 3×1.5 mm²
- 8–9 mm → 3×2.5 mm²
- 10–12 mm → heavier feeders, multi-core, conduit
PETG handles plaster moisture better; PLA is fine in dry chases.
0.2 mm layer · 3 walls · 25–30% infill · no supports.
Install
Cut chase → lay cable → push clip on → press into chase until the teeth bite
→ plaster over. Done.
Parametric
Cable Ø, length, and wall thickness are all adjustable in Onshape. Need a
size that isn't in the file? Drop a comment and I'll add it.
