Removeable & Stackeable SKDS Trays

SKDS TRAYS

I designed these SKDS compatible trays because I wanted a more convenient solution than typical hook mounted containers. Instead of having to unclip trays every time you need something, these are built to be quickly and easily lifted out and put back in place.

The system is based on a sturdy frame that stays mounted on the board, while the trays themselves simply sit on top.

The trays are currently available in three different lengths: 

• 84 mm
• 124 mm
• 164 mm. 

Each length comes in three height options: 

• 30 mm
• 50 mm
• 80 mm

(All Sizes feature a depth of 80mm)

The trays are also fully stackable! 

You can stack multiple trays on a single frame (as long as they share the same length), allowing you to mix and match your own storage setup. 

The height of the trays doesn’t matter when stacking.

I personally printed the Trays using Bambu Pla Basic. For very high load scenarios consider using filaments such as ASA/ABS or PA. PETG may also prove rigid enough. PLA tends to deform slowly over time under constant load so ymmv.
