Magnetic Bit Holder Keychain (5–7 Bits)

 

This compact and functional 3D-printed bit holder is the perfect companion for on-the-go. Designed as a keychain, it offers space for 5 bits for secure storage as well as 2 additional slots, which also serve as practical tool holders.

Whether as an EDC tool (Every-Day-Carry), attached to a backpack, or traditionally on a keychain – this bit holder is versatile and always at hand.

Thanks to integrated magnets, your bits stay securely in place – and with the correct pole orientation, multiple holders can even be connected together.

Features:

  • Capacity: 5 securely stored + 2 as tool holders (total 5–7 bits)
  • Magnetic system for firm hold and modular expansion
  • Compatible with 20 mm and 25 mm keyrings
  • Three design variations:
    • Wood-look
    • Stone-look
    • Carbon-look

The special surface structures were created using the Bumpmesh tool – a big thank you to CNC Kitchen for this great feature!

Printing instructions:

  • 6 magnets (Ø 6x2 mm) are needed
  • The print pauses automatically twice:
    1. For inserting the magnets in the storage position
    2. For the tool holder position (If the magnet sits too loosely, a drop of superglue can help here)
  • Absolutely pay attention to the correct polarity of the magnets, especially if 2 holders are to be combined

Important note:
A clean calibration of the printer and filament is highly recommended. Otherwise, the bits may not fit optimally. If necessary, the model can be slightly scaled to adjust the fit.
