I. Design Concept
The artwork takes the traditional Chinese 'Hundred Blessings Culture' as its core theme, reinterpreting the diverse forms of 'Fu' (blessing/fortune) in a modern way through circular composition + multiple 'Fu' characters + hollowed-out craftsmanship.
Using 'circle' as the medium, it symbolizes completeness and reunion, aligning with the Chinese people's yearning for peace and prosperity; it gathers 'Fu' characters in various calligraphic styles and artistic forms to display the rich connotations of 'Fu' culture; it adopts a layered cut-out art form, using light and shadow projection to achieve a visual effect of intertwining reality and illusion, giving static decoration a dynamic atmosphere; suitable for display in multiple scenarios such as desktops / entryways, possessing both cultural significance and practical decorative value.
II. Design Details
Overall size: Suitable for standard desktop ornaments, with 200×200mm as the base size.
Layout: With the large 'Fu' character at the center as the visual focal point, surrounded by 'Fu' character patterns of varying sizes and styles, paired with traditional auspicious elements like lanterns and auspicious clouds, forming a well-arranged circular composition with no blind spots.
Hollowed-out design: All lines are continuous closed structures, with no isolated small parts, avoiding breakage and detachment issues during printing.
III. Printing Suitability
Recommended filament: PLA / PLA Silk (gold pattern version is suitable for silk gold / silk yellow filament, black pattern version is suitable for PLA Matte black filament, and a red backing plate is suitable)
Layer height: 0.15-0.2mm, to ensure the fineness of the hollowed-out lines and surface smoothness
Infill rate: 15%-20%, balancing structural strength and printing efficiency
Supports: no extra supports needed, all structures are self-supporting designs, reducing printing failure rate and post-processing costs
Using a layered art design, the frame and backplate are printed separately, allowing for free color matching and individual replacement of the backplate style
IV. Scenarios and Expansion
Applicable scenarios: Desktop ornaments, entryway decorations, festive souvenirs, home decor accents, suitable for various home styles such as New Chinese, modern minimalist, etc.;
Expansion possibilities: Supports custom sizes and color schemes, and can also be paired with LED light strips to create a light and shadow lightbox effect, adaptable to more usage scenarios.
