High Power Rocket 1 Gram Charge Well

This is a charge well-designed for HPR rocketry. It is designed to hold approximately 1 gram of ejection powder (noted by a fill line) that can be used to separate your rocket when used with an e-match.

This is intended to only be used by those who are of sufficient skill for dual-deploy high-power rocketry. In the US that is obtaining a Level 1 certificate with either NAR or Tripoli. All others are not advised to use this part due to the hazardous nature of the ejection powders required.

Use is at the discretion of the downloader, I am not responsible for any damage or injury this model may cause.

To use

• Fill with 1g of ejection powder
• Place e-match in powder
• Apply tape over the top to seal the charge well
• Attach the charge well to your avionics bay with the #4 screws but don't tighten all the way yet.
  • This is designed so that the two screws can also act as the pass-through for the e-match signal from your altimeter
• Attach the e-match leads to the screws and finish tightening
• The rest is done in-flight

I have printed this with PLA and earlier versions have been able to withstand the heat and pressures with little deformation.
