Dogue de Bordeaux Bust

This Dogue de Bordeaux bust captures the immense strength and soulful gravity that define this historic French mastiff. Sculpted in a composed three-quarter profile, the head is slightly lowered, conveying quiet authority and calm vigilance. The broad skull, pronounced stop, and deeply wrinkled brow are faithfully represented, giving the piece immediate breed recognition and powerful presence.

The heavy jowls and layered facial folds are meticulously sculpted, creating depth and shadow across the muzzle. The subtle droop of the eyes enhances the breed’s characteristic thoughtful, almost contemplative expression. Unlike cropped-eared mastiffs, the natural folded ears frame the head and soften the overall silhouette while maintaining the imposing stature expected of this formidable guardian.
