Hello everyone
I have modeled my own version of an Autodart system. As a base, I use a Winmau Plasma, which already has all 120° holes, perfect for mounting Autodarts feet
These things are needed in addition to the printing material:
Winmau Plasma, 85€: https://www.dartshopper.de/winmau-plasma-dartboard-beleuchtungssystem/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17413329579&gbraid=0AAAAADIcaUXPOCeICUJRiuDZ4_f1AS6td&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2MbPBhCSARIsAP3jP9zfr1BfL5QT8SxKWMIogbMGEb4yCKA92zf-QSBSgg_qvEoAUCV6qgMaAiVBEALw_wcB
OV9732 Camera (3x), 39€: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DYJW1S1N?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
Heat-set inserts set, 13€: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0F2TGGBMC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
→ 6x M2 x 4 x 3.2
→ 6x M3 x 6 x 5
→ 4x M3 x 5 x 5
→ 6x M4 x 8 x 6
Screw set, 12€: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CN2C82WS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
→ 6x M2 x 8
→ 10x M3 x 8
→ 6x M4 x 20
USB hub, 14€: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08F7NWJY5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
3x screw 4.5 x 50 mm
3x wall plug 6 x 36 mm
USB-C charging cable
Smart plug
End device
Tools you should have:
Precision screwdriver, e.g.: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B09PY8WQHJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Soldering iron, e.g.: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B09C84DNYL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
Procedure:
- Print everything
- Due to the supports, the hole for the cable duct to the head, where the camera sits, disappears on the “Top” part. This must first be melted open with a soldering iron (preferably near an open window or even outside)
- Insert heat inserts
- Screw cameras into head
- Thread cables through Foot and Top & connect to camera
- Screw together Foot, Top & Winmau Plasma
- Accommodate the Winmau Plasma cable in the Special Foot
- Attach the cover of the Special Foot
- Attach the top cover
- Drill 3 holes & attach the entire frame to the wall
- I prepared the back of my surround so that the cables etc. fit underneath
The Winmau Plasma cable goes through the cable duct to the wall socket. The other three camera cables go through the cable duct into a USB hub, which is powered by a USB-C charging cable (important to ensure power supply to the cameras, otherwise problems may occur. I use my 65W laptop charging cable for this, so my laptop charges directly as soon as I play)
→ I use a smart plug so I can turn the ring light on and off with my Alexa via voice control
- Now just connect the laptop, set up the program (check out https://autodarts.diy/ for this) and start playing darts :)
For questions, feedback, or further inspiration, I am always happy to help :)
