Description
To experiment with the new Colour/Color Mixing feature in Bambu Studio v2.5.3 and above, I created this test print so see what the mixed colours look like when configured as gradients.
The spiral fidget cone combines Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red and White using gradients to create a rainbow effect. Due to the many filament changes, it is highly recommended to use the X2D or H2D/H2C to reduce the amount of waste purge. I have included a shortened version for the P1S/P2S for experimentation but due to the resizing, this version no longer works as a spiral fidget and is just for display/experimentation.
Currently there is an Bambulab Slicing error when trying to upload print profiles with mixed filaments. Therefore, the downloadable print profile needs the filament gradients to be added manually and assigned to the modifier layers as shown in the image below . Alternatively, download the 3mf files from the “STL/CAD files” option where the filaments mixes are included. I will add the correct print profiles as soon as the platform supports it.
