Meet Flapper Zero, a fast-printing, print-in-place folding fidget toy that is ready to play straight off the build plate.
Each Flapper Zero is made from a chain of hinged triangles that can be flipped, folded, twisted, stacked, and shaped into different forms. Fold it into squares, bend it into odd little sculptures, make repeating patterns, or just keep it nearby for idle hands. It works as a simple fidget, a pocket puzzle, and a shape-making toy all in one.
It fits easily in your pocket, making it a great everyday carry fidget for work, school, travel, or anywhere your hands need something to do.
No supports. No AMS required. No hardware. No assembly. No cleanup.
Just print it, pick it up, and start flipping.
Sizes Included
4 Triangle - Mini
Small, quick, and pocket-friendly. Great as a tiny fidget, and includes a keychain-ready variant so you can clip it to your keys, bag, or backpack.
8 Triangle - Small
Compact enough to carry around, with more folding possibilities than the Mini.
12 Triangle - Standard
The largest version that fits on Bambu Lab A, P, and X series printers.
16 Triangle - Large
The biggest version, with the most shape-making potential. This one only fits on H2 series machines.
Print Profiles
Each size is uploaded as a separate print profile and includes both single-color and two-color options.
The Standard 12 Triangle size also includes a 4-color option designed to slightly reduce color swaps on single-nozzle machines.
AMS is not required for any version, but it can be used if you want to add more color variety.
Puzzle Mode
Print two Flapper Zeros and try interweaving them together. It turns into a surprisingly fun hands-on puzzle, especially with two different colors. It even works with different sizes.
Printing Notes
Flapper Zero is designed to be an easy, no-fuss print:
No supports
No AMS required
No hardware
No assembly
No post-processing
Print-in-place hinges
Ready to use right off the printer
For best results, make sure your first layer is clean. The hinges are designed to move right off the build plate, but you need to flex the joint to release the full range of motion. I've test printed and verified the print profiles on the A1 and H2S.
