Description

Overview

This is a high-performance, 3D-printable pickleball designed for durability and consistent flight. Optimized for FDM printing, the geometry ensures a balanced weight distribution and a smooth surface finish. Whether you're looking for a practice ball or testing out different filament mechanical properties, this model provides a reliable, regulation-sized option.

Features

  • Precision Airflow: Symmetrical hole pattern for stable flight characteristics.
  • Print-Optimized: Designed to be printed with minimal to no supports depending on your printer's cooling capabilities.
  • Durable Geometry: Reinforced struts to handle impact.

Print Settings & Recommendations

  • Filament: For actual play, TPU (95A) or Polypropylene is highly recommended. PLA is suitable for decorative models or light-toss practice but may crack under high-velocity paddle impact.
  • Wall Loops: 3–4 walls for maximum structural integrity.
  • Infill: 100% (The model is thin-walled, so this ensures the struts are solid).
  • Support: Not required, but a small brim is recommended to ensure stability during the print since the contact point with the bed is very small.
