X Shot Longshot Half Dart Adapter Internals- ONI

A set of internals for printed, XShot Longshot, half dart adapters. In my testing these seem to work great in my own work, as well as the original Xshot adatpers, and RedCowl adapter geometry.

In fine tuning the geometry of my thumbhole grip, half dart adapter for the XLS I wanted to address some accuracy concerns with other models. Modeled from scratch to better match the original components and try for a more universal fit. You will need to source two springs from a hardware store or cannibalize some from another source.

For printing, I recommend the orientation they come in, as well as adaptive layer height. This will help with stair stepping and give a nicer contact surface for the action. I apply supports, but should only need them on the diamond shaped spring retainers, and very little at that. I do try to be tight in my measurements and keep slop to a minimum, so some slight filing or sanding might be needed to keep things moving
