Description

Hot air balloon basket compatible with the balloon part from here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/993374-cute-hot-air-balloon-lamp-shade-18cm-diameter#profileId-2108464.

To assemble you'll need 4 6x2mm magnets per basket and some thread. I used crochet thread, since it's a bit thicker than regular thread and looks in my opinion nicer. To fasten the balloon part, I recommend gluing the top part inside the balloon like this (white part is the curved top part, should fit nicely inside the balloon):

The part is white on the image for display purposes, I would print that one and the one attaching to it in the same color as the balloon.

To run the thread for the top part, start at the top and go zig-zag through both parts (like on the image) until you end up at the top again and then tie a knot. There are grooves for the thread in the bottom part.

For the bottom part the idea is same, start at the top where the larger groove is for the knot and go down to one corner of the basket and exit from the other hole and repeat for all four corners.

Make sure to glue the magnets in the right way.

I used:

Bambu Lab - Walnut wood PLA and desert tan PLA Matte for the basket

Bambu Lab - Walnut wood PLA for burner rings

Bambu Lab - Orange transparent PETG for the flame

Bambu Lab - Bronze basic PLA for the burner

PS: The print profile images have the AMS enabled baskets on them as I used those ones for myself, but the non-AMS basket looks like this:
