Optimized Print Settings:
The included slicer settings that have been meticulously dialed in to minimize layer lines and ensure effortless support removal. For the absolute best results straight off the build plate, I recommend the following parameters used during my testing:
- Material: PLA Matte (Highly recommended for showcasing fine surface details and reducing glare)
- Default Scale: 150mm tall (Fully scalable to your specific project needs)
- Nozzle Size: 0.4mm
- Pro-Tip: If you reduce the scale significantly, I highly recommend switching to a 0.2mm nozzle to preserve the ultra-fine details of the tactical gear.
- Layer Height: 0.12mm (High-Quality setting recommended)
- Support Removal: While I have optimized the support settings to facilitate easy removal, please exercise extreme caution when cleaning up smaller portions of the model, specifically the hands and sidearm. I had to place the support Top Z Distance tighter than I normally would on this model because the NVG's would not support an extended distance (trust me I tried).
