Make your teacher appreciation gift truly personal! This remix is optimized for Bambu Studio, allowing you to customize the teacher's name in seconds using the built-in Text Tool. No external CAD software or STL exporting is required.
How to Customize in Bambu Studio:
- Open the Project: Load the 3MF file into Bambu Studio.
- Select the Text Object: Right-click the nameplate/text area on the build plate.
- Use the Text Tool: Click the 'T' (Text Shape) icon in the top toolbar.
- Type the Name: Enter the teacher’s name (e.g., "Mrs. Smith") in the text box. You can change the font and size here to fit the frame perfectly.
- Adjust Alignment: Ensure the text is slightly "sunk" into the top and bottom support bars. This allows the printer to fuse the name and bars together as one solid piece, eliminating the need to glue individual letters.
- Glue on the Top plate and your all set!
Print Settings Recommendations:
- Material: PLA or PETG
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.2mm for clean text edges.
- Walls: 2–3 loops for strength.
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid recommended).
- Multi-Color: Optimized for Bambu AMS.
Assembly Tip:
By overlapping the text with the top and bottom bars in the slicer, the nameplate prints as a single, sturdy unit. Once printed, simply snap or glue it into the base of the Teacher’s Apple model!
