Description

I was using a pump to recirculate warm water from a splash pad so my kids could play without getting so cold. I needed something stable so if the kids bumped it the intake would not turn over and lose suction. The splash pad is pretty shallow so I needed something very low profile. And I also needed something that wouldn't hurt if stepped on. This is made for a ¾ inch or 19mm garden hose with no hardware or threads. The garden hose tube slips into place to maximize water volume instead of using the barb internal diameter attachment method. My thought was that if the kids stepped on it the internal barb attachment method my break. Since hoses differ on suppleness and outside diameter, a few rounds of electrical tape around the hose tip may be necessary for a snug fit.  Enjoy the warm water!!
