Mini Camera Slider for V-Slot 2020 | DIY Photo & Action Cam Rail System

This project is a compact DIY camera slider designed for smooth photo and video movement using V-Slot 2020 aluminum profiles, V-Wheels, and a set of custom 3D printed parts.

Perfect for:

  • action cameras (GoPro, DJI Action, Insta360)

  • lightweight DSLR / mirrorless setups

The system is simple, modular, and easy to customize depending on the length of the aluminum profile used.

Built using standard V-Slot components from my daily workshop setup.

Assembly Notes

The slider uses a standard V-Wheel rolling system with one eccentric spacer for wheel tension adjustment.

Print orientation is optimized for strength and long-term durability.

PETG recommended for best results.
