THE MODEL :
Embody the power of mythical creatures with this Baroque masquerade mask inspired by the griffin. This masterful design merges the proud profile of the lion and the eagle with the opulence of classical scrollwork. Every stylized feather and chiseled scroll contributes to a striking "Wild Nobility" aesthetic. It is the perfect accessory for a high-end gala, a "High Fantasy" costume, or to be displayed as a piece of sculptural art. The matte black finish highlights the reliefs, giving the object the appearance of forged metal or sacred stone.
Proven print settings :
- Material : Matte Black PLA.
- Infill : 5% (perfect for lightweight, comfortable wearing); can be increased up to 15% to improve overall structural rigidity.
- Nozzle : 0.4 mm.
Maker's Tip : This mask features very strong dynamic lines. For a "Mythological Relic" look, consider applying a light silver or "gunmetal" patina to the edges of the beak and ears. Fasten it with black leather straps to enhance its warrior-like yet noble appearance.
INFORMATION:
A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?
For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.
Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
