Description
This is a custom-designed shock mount (spider) specifically engineered for the Shure PG27. Unlike universal mounts that often grip the microphone body poorly, this model utilizes the original Shure threaded connector for a secure, "locked-in" fit.

Important: Calibration & Fitment
To ensure the threads work perfectly with your specific printer and filament, please do not skip the calibration step. This only applies to the screw!
- Thread Test First: It is highly recommended to perform a small thread test print before committing to the full model.
- XY Hole Compensation: The default setting in the provided file is set to 0.15mm.
- Adjustment: Depending on your printer's tolerances and the filament used (e.g., PETG vs. PLA), you may need to adjust the XY Hole Compensation (or "Horizontal Expansion") to ensure the microphone threads on smoothly without being too loose or too tight. You can do this directly in the object settings
Assembly Instructions
- Attach the inner part which holds the microphone and the outer part with rubber bands, I use two Loom Bands for each connection point
- Use the original mount an the outer ring
- Screw in the microphone
