This model was designed to solve one of the most common problems related to the fairings of the 3rd series Transalp. The plastic pins of the original fairings break, and the fairing becomes unstable. Often, gluing the broken pieces does not yield good, long-lasting results due to the small gluing surface.

Creating a model with a thicker section and a larger gluing surface aims to solve this problem.

First, place the pins in the tank and orient them so that they perfectly match the fairing's shape:

Once this is done, spread a generous amount of glue on the support and position the fairing.

Repeat the same procedure for the pins located near the steering column and hold the fairing in place, allowing the glue to dry.

Once this is done, we can remove the fairing and fill the gaps with additional glue.

As seen in the last images, the model is provided with a central hole that serves to house an M4 screw with metric threading. This screw aims to further stiffen the support and ensure that, even in case of cracks or fractures, it remains solid and does not break into multiple pieces.
