Description
“Gary” is a small but practical spacer designed to extend or replace the original X-axis media stop on industrial label printers.
This model was primarily designed for the ZT610, allowing the user to extend the original X stop and properly align narrower labels that would otherwise not be supported by the stock guide.
Additionally, it also works as a replacement stop for the 110Xi4, thanks to the integrated mounting hole that allows it to be secured directly onto the original rail using a screw.
Despite its simple design, it solves a very specific (and annoying) limitation when working with smaller media widths.
And yes… it looks like a tiny snail 🐌 — that’s why it’s called Gary.
🔧 Installation
ZT610
- Slide the X-axis stop all the way to the right
- Gently place Gary with the “teeth” facing downward and the “fin” aligned into the left rail
- Move the X-axis stop back into position according to your label width
110Xi4
- Align the “fin” with the rail where the original stop was installed
- Secure Gary using a screw that fits the rail slot
- Adjust Gary as needed based on the label width
