Description
Model #03: Sylvester “The Alley King” Shelby
Looney Blinders Collection: The Cartoon Underworld
Welcome to Looney Blinders, an exclusive collection of 3D models that brings the iconic, fearless style of 1920s Birmingham into the wild and irreverent universe of the Looney Tunes.
This series reimagines classic cartoon characters through a sharp Peaky-inspired aesthetic: three-piece suits, heavy tweed overcoats, flat caps, hidden razor blades, polished boots, pocket watches, and the ruthless attitude of those who run the streets, the bets, and the backroom deals.
Model #03: Sylvester “The Alley King” Shelby
The third release in the collection brings street instinct, sharp eyes, and silent menace: Sylvester “The Alley King” Shelby.
Forget the unlucky cat chasing shadows. In the Looney Blinders universe, Sylvester is no side character. He is the enforcer of the family, the one who watches from the alley, waits in silence, and strikes when the deal goes wrong.
Dressed in a tailored grey tweed suit, long overcoat, flat cap, dark gloves, and heavy leather boots, this version of Sylvester blends classic cartoon personality with the hard-edged style of a Birmingham gangster. His calm expression, oversized eyes, sharp whiskers, and shotgun silhouette give the model a powerful cinematic presence, as if he just stepped out of a backroom deal no one was supposed to survive.
This piece was carefully sculpted for 3D printing enthusiasts looking for a premium display model with strong character identity, detailed fabric texture, and unmistakable attitude.
Printing Notes — Recommended
This model was optimized to highlight the tweed texture, coat folds, facial expression, whisker details, cap structure, weapon silhouette, boots, and suit layers, ensuring a premium finish after printing.
Suggested Filament: Grey PLA, preferably Bambu Lab Grey.
Tip: Grey filament enhances the natural shadows of the sculpt, giving the model the appearance of cast metal, resin, or a monochrome collectible statue. It also fits perfectly with the gritty and elegant visual identity of the Looney Blinders series.
Layer Height: 0.12 mm for best quality, or 0.16 mm for a balanced print. A fine layer height is especially important to preserve the tweed pattern, facial details, cap texture, whiskers, coat edges, shotgun details, and boot laces.
Supports: Tree Supports are strongly recommended. They are easier to remove and help protect delicate areas such as the whiskers, cap brim, coat edges, hands, weapon, and facial features.
Infill: 10–15% Gyroid. This provides good structural strength while keeping filament usage efficient.
Post-Processing: A light dry brush with silver, light grey, or smoke-grey acrylic paint will make the tweed texture, coat folds, boots, gloves, and weapon details stand out beautifully. For a stronger premium result, add subtle shading around the overcoat, cap, lapels, and shotgun.
⚠️ LOONEY BLINDERS WARNING:
Keep your claws sharp, your whiskers clean, and never turn your back on the cat in the alley.
By order of the Looney Blinders.
