Description

MagClick - The Magnet Powered Fidget Clicker

Sharp, Satisfying, Magnetic – A next-level clicker

Magnets:

You will need 20 round 4×2 mm magnets, or 6×3 mm magnets for the XL size. I recommend using magnets from the Bambu Lab store because they are really high quality and work very well for this. If you purchase them through the Bill of Materials, the cost is the same, and you support me in the process.

Make sure to use strong neodymium magnets!

Assembly:

Magnet order:

I recommend using a small amount of superglue when attaching the magnets.

Use the picture below to arrange the magnets correctly. The north and south sides don’t matter, only their orientation relative to each other.

To make assembling easier, press and twist the pins in place at a slight angle like you see in the video!

Hi. i really need you to see this. your model pentaclick has a ugly copy. its called a tech zuble. when i tried to call him out for that, he just arrogantly said something about car brands copying each other and banned me from replying again. I think you should take down this model or the user himself

Hi! I’m aware of “Zuble,” and while the concept is similar, the design is completely different. I appreciate your concern.

oh really? could you please explain the differences a bit, because when i look at them i just see a pentaclick but a square

The idea is the same, but the design itself is different. The geometry, proportions, and internal structure are not the same. The concept isn’t owned by anyone, and anyone can create a fidget clicker as long as the design is original.

unfortunelty the XL version with 6x3 magnets doesn’t work. the magnets are not strong enough to push it back out.

Are the joints fully worked in and loose? Where are your magnets from? If the magnets are high quality N35 magnets (for example from bambulab), and the joints are loose, the force should be enough.

Replying to @YosaNatural :
Yeah, all fully loose. The distance the center magnets can lift it is about 1.5cm but it doesn't manage to fully open it. The magnets are 6x3mm magnets from Amazon (I think from a chinese supplier so most likely not the highest quality) but bambos magnets are only n35 as well, no? I'll try to get my hands on some n52 or I'll try the rubber band version. I still like the idea behind it really much so thanks for it. :)

Yes, the 6x3 Bambulab magnets are N35, while the 4x2 mm magnets are N50M. I’ve only tested with Bambulab magnets, and they work very well. For me in the XL version the center magnets push to about 2 cm, and the side magnets easily snap it closed from there. Thank you for the feedback!😄

XL Size (6x3 mm magnets)
Strength Issue:the interlocking parts for model XL are not strong enough. they get broken during matting. unfortunatelly I have to print one wing again...

You need to be careful with assembly! If you use brittle material, you can add a wall layer!
