Description
This is a lens cap for Leica lens hoods used on the 35mm f/1.4 Summilux, 35mm Summicron, and 28mm Summicron.
I modified valtkint’s design to fit my lenses.
It snaps on perfectly when printed in PLA. TPU also works well, but since it is more flexible, the fit is not as firm or snappy.
A great replacement for the original cap.
If you’re not sure whether it will fit your hood, there are many versions of these lenses. My hood measures exactly:
- Outer: 58.05mm x 45.80mm
- Inner: 55.41mm x 42.92mm
