The head part's position has been rotated, leading to a higher print success rate, and the density of all connecting parts has been reinforced

This is a giant dandelion windmill sculpture, entirely 3D printed using PLA. In its structural design, a bearing has been incorporated into the center, effectively reducing friction during rotation and allowing the windmill to turn more smoothly with the wind

The model primarily consists of several parts:
The main structure and the cross-shaped base socket each require one print; the green stem sections can be freely increased or decreased according to personal needs. If you want a taller result, you can print more sections to connect. I used two stem sections as an example in the display pictures

The most challenging part of the entire model is creating the leaves (also known as dandelion seeds). A total of 36 leaves are required, meaning 18 repeated prints. This step truly tests patience—during my actual printing process, I almost reached a breaking point

However, when you finally see this giant dandelion slowly rotating with the wind in your backyard, the sense of accomplishment makes all the effort feel completely worthwhile
