♟️ About This Project (About This Project)

This is not an ordinary chess set, it is a miniature Gotham City

As a hardcore DC fan, I spent weeks designing and testing this "Gotham-themed Chess Set" It not only includes over 30 custom chess pieces with exquisite details, but also a visually stunning five-sided diorama storage box {In another project on my homepage, because the entire file is too large} When the righteous Bat-Family clashes with the insane Arkham Villains, the fated black-and-white confrontation will be perfectly recreated on your printer

Now, I am open-sourcing this project, to which I've dedicated a lot of effort, for all friends who love 3D printing and the DC universe

🌟 Key Features (Key Features)

1. Extreme Faction Opposition (Faction Design)

Hero Faction (suggested black/metallic colors): Batman (King), Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, Commissioner Gordon, etc The "pawns" in the front row are designed as 8 Bat-Signals, symbolizing hope piercing through darkness

Villain Faction (suggested fluorescent green/other colors): Joker (King), Harley Quinn, Bane, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, etc The "pawns" in the front row are 8 eerie Joker Cards

2. Collectible Embossed Storage Box (Diorama Storage Box)

The box itself is a work of art

Surrounding Embossments: "Serious Bat-Family", "Grinning Arkham (surrounded by HAHAHA)", "Asylum Gate", and "Gotham Bat-Signal Night View"

Lid is the Chessboard: The front of the lid is an 8x8 chessboard, and the back is engraved with the ultimate fated scene of "Batman and Joker playing chess"

Double-Layer Storage Structure: Perfectly utilizes space, with 10cm tall main chess pieces placed in the lower layer, and 7cm tall pawns placed on the upper tray, preventing pieces from bumping into each other

🖨️ Print Tips (Print Tips)

I have uploaded the pre-arranged `.3mf` print profile, it is recommended to use Bambu Studio for one-click printing

Filament Pairing: Highly recommend using high-contrast colors! For example, use fluorescent green (PLA Basic) to print the Arkham side, and metallic black/silver (PLA Silk) to print the Bat-Family side, resulting in excellent visual effects

Chess Piece Printing: Considering the details of character faces and weapons, it is recommended to use a 0.2mm nozzle or enable 0.08mm layer height, and be sure to enable Tree Supports, though it will take longer

(If you have a resin/SLA 3D Printer, it is highly recommended to print the pieces with resin, the detail expression will be god-tier!)
