GeminaRaptor-Fantasy Made for MultiColor Printing

This model was originally part of a crowdfunding project, but due to unexpected issues with payment processing, the campaign wasn’t able to continue. Rather than let that stop the project, I’ve decided to release it here for free, so anyone interested can still download, print, and enjoy it.

Thank you to everyone who supported, followed, or reached out during that time — it truly meant a lot. I’ll keep building the Neo Bestiary world and creating more unique, 3D-printable creatures in the future. If you’d like to see what’s coming next, feel free to follow along.

Due to a technical limitation, I’m currently unable to upload the full model as a single file — the platform times out during cloud slicing when processing it. For now, the connector part is uploaded separately, and the full dinosaur and base models are provided in the attachments.

Printing Notes:

• Recommended to print with H2C. Other printers may run into size or compatibility issues.
• If using PVA supports, make sure PVA is loaded on a fixed nozzle, and use the remaining toolheads for PLA (6 colors).
• PVA must be properly dried, and ideally kept dry during printing.
• Please apply glue to the build plate to ensure good adhesion.

The model is split into two parts. Since the full version can be quite heavy and difficult to open on some computers, I’ve separated it into two files for easier access.

Base Assembly Notes:
To ensure better compatibility and easier file handling, the base is released as a separate model.

The second plate includes a square connector pin used to attach the raptor’s feet to the base. Both the feet and the base have matching square sockets for alignment. There is also a secondary contact point at the tallest mushroom to improve overall stability.

⚠️ Important: The connector pin in the file is modeled at 100% scale (zero tolerance). This means it is a tight-fit design and may NOT fit directly depending on your printer and calibration. Please adjust the scaling slightly according to your own machine before printing — otherwise it will likely not assemble properly.

For extra stability (especially during transport), you can apply a small amount of glue to the connector pin and the mushroom contact point. If the model is only for display and won’t be moved, this step can be skipped.

Gemina Raptor is the first creature I created for the Neo Bestiary world.

It is a multi-color, single-piece digital sculpture designed specifically for multi-color FDM printers.
The main version features a two-headed body structure, inspired by the concept of twin embryos that fail to fully merge during development.

Neo Bestiary is a fantasy creature encyclopedia built around 3D printing.

Every species in this world is designed starting from what printers can do rather than what traditional manufacturing cannot.
Colors flow through the entire body. Internal structures are exposed. Patterns are embedded across anatomy. These are forms that injection molding and single-color printing would struggle to achieve.

More creatures will join this world over time.
