Meet the Flexi Pepe the Frog [Spring]

This little frog just stretched out on your build plate and decided it was time for a nap. With its relaxed sleepy eyes, smooth rounded face, and adorable flat resting pose, it instantly becomes a tiny wiggly source of calm.

The design keeps everything simple and charming. The body is long and evenly thick from head to tail, creating that classic flexi look with smooth spring-like segments. It lays perfectly flat on its belly, making it both satisfying to print and fun to play with.

Pick it up and the articulated body wiggles smoothly in your hands. Put it back down and it relaxes again in its lazy frog pose, quietly chilling on your desk.

Its compact chibi proportions and clean shape make it a perfect small collectible. It looks great as a desk toy, shelf decoration, or just a little companion sitting next to your keyboard.

Special Feature:
The body uses smooth spring-style articulation which gives the frog a very satisfying flexible movement while keeping the shape simple and clean.

Important Printing Notes

I updated and fine-tuned the print profile for this model.

The profile is adjusted so that the print speed is reduced in more difficult areas of the model. I also added a Z-hop of 0.6 mm in the critical sections to help prevent the nozzle from touching or catching the spring-style body during printing.

I strongly do not recommend printing many models at once right away. Please test the print with one model first and make sure everything works correctly on your printer.

For the best result, make sure your printer is properly calibrated. Good bed leveling, clean filament flow, and accurate movement are very important for this model, especially because of the spring-style articulated body.

If the print does not work well for you, or if the spring section starts to move, shift, or detach during printing, reduce the print speed. In many cases, setting the speed to 50% can help a lot.

I personally printed this model more than 5 times, and I did not have any printing issues. The model printed cleanly and successfully at different speeds.

Please, if something does not work for you, send me a private message or leave a comment. I will gladly try to help and suggest what can be adjusted.

The model itself is quite easy to print, and the print profile has been carefully prepared. If a problem appears, it is most likely related to printer calibration, speed, bed adhesion, or individual printer settings. Once everything is tuned correctly, the model prints very smoothly.

Please do not use silk filament for this model. In my experience, silk filament is one of the worst choices for spring-style articulated prints because it can be less reliable, more brittle, and less forgiving during movement.

I strongly recommend printing this model with matte PLA or another good-quality standard PLA instead.

Please, avoid silk filament for this model. It will give you a much better chance of getting a clean and successful print.

Printing Options:

Single Color
Clean and minimal. A single color highlights the smooth curves of the frog and the satisfying spring-like body segments.

Multicolor
Adding a different color for the eyes or body creates a playful cartoon look and makes the character stand out even more.

Pro tip:
Do not print just one. These frogs look best in small groups. Fill the plate and you will end up with a whole relaxed frog squad.

A tiny, wiggly, sleepy frog ready to chill on your desk.
