Description
These 3D models are intended as upgrade parts for owners of earlier HandyDob6 units.
With these updated parts, compatible 2-inch filters can be mounted without interference from the focuser brace.
These models were designed with reference to a model originally created by DBullard, a user on CloudyNights, and were redesigned with the creator’s permission.
Starting from April 2026, all HandyDob6 units sold include the newly designed focuser bracket and focuser brace. These models are provided for earlier HandyDob6 owners who would like to perform the upgrade themselves.
The print settings used for the parts installed in our products are listed below.
1. NEW_FOCUSER_BRACKET
- Nozzle: 0.6 mm
- Wall loops: 10
- Sparse infill density: 40%
- Sparse infill pattern: Gyroid
2. NEW_FOCUSER_BRACE
- Nozzle: 0.6 mm
- Wall loops: 4
- Sparse infill density: 25%
- Sparse infill pattern: Gyroid
