Vladimir Lenin Portrait Bust

This is a custom-modeled 12cm portrait bust of Vladimir Lenin, designed with a focus on historical accuracy and clean aesthetic lines. The model captures the distinctive features and formal attire of the figure, making it an excellent piece for history enthusiasts, collectors, or as a desk accessory.

The print shown in the photos was achieved using Marble PLA, which provides a sophisticated, stone-like finish that hides layer lines exceptionally well and enhances the shadows of the sculpt.

Print Settings & Recommendations

To achieve the best results and maintain the structural integrity of the bust, I recommend the following settings used for the prototype:

• Height: 120 mm (12 cm)
• Infill Density: 10%
• Infill Pattern: Gyroid (Highly recommended for balanced strength and preventing nozzle interference during fast movements).
• Supports: Minimal supports may be needed for the chin and the underside of the base depending on your printer's cooling capabilities.
• Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm (0.16mm is preferred for better facial detail).
• Wall Loops: 2-3 walls are sufficient for a sturdy feel.

Technical Note

The use of Gyroid infill at 10% ensures that the model is lightweight yet durable, with a uniform internal structure that supports the top surfaces of the head and shoulders perfectly without wasting filament.
