Description

Looney Blinders Collection: The Cartoon Underworld

Welcome to the Looney Blinders, an exclusive collection of 3D models that brings the iconic, gritty style of 1920s Birmingham to the irreverent universe of the Looney Tunes.

This series reimagines your favorite characters with the "Peaky" aesthetic: three-piece suits, heavy tweed overcoats, flat caps with hidden razor blades, and the ruthless attitude of those who run the city's betting rings.

Model #01: Duffy Duck Shelby (V2)

The first release of the collection couldn't be anyone else: Duffy Duck Shelby.

Forget the clumsy duck; here, he takes on the role of the family's strategist and leader. With his long overcoat, hands in his pockets, and the look of someone who is always three steps ahead of any hustle, this model captures the perfect fusion between classic cartoon nostalgia and the gritty "Blinder" sobriety.

This model was meticulously sculpted for 3D printing enthusiasts looking for highly detailed display pieces.

Printing Notes (Recommended)

The model has been optimized to highlight fabric textures and expression lines, ensuring a premium finish.

  • Suggested Filament: Grey PLA (Bambu Lab Grey).
    • Tip: Bambu Lab's grey enhances the natural shadows of the piece, giving it the look of a cast metal or resin statue, perfectly suiting the series' monochromatic palette.
  • Layer Height: 0.12mm (BEST LAYER HIGH) to 0.16mm (essential for capturing the fine texture of the suit and the brim of the cap).
  • Supports: We highly recommend using Tree Supports. They are easier to remove and ensure the integrity of the beak and the overcoat flaps.
  • Infill: 10-15% Gyroid pattern (provides excellent structural strength while saving filament).
  • Post-Processing: A light dry-brush with silver or light grey acrylic paint will make the tweed textures pop, elevating the realism of the final piece.

⚠️ LOONEY BLINDERS WARNING:

Very happy with the full set of Looney Blinders. Every print came out perfect and even I as a complete novice to 3D printing was able to remove the supports quickly and cleanly. Very impressed and looking forward to future releases in the series.
