Description
Our daughters’ tortoise has outgrown its old little house, so it was time to design a new one. The brief from the kids was very clear:
“wood, tree stump… no modern stuff!” 😄
So I created a larger hide inspired by a split log / tree stump style. It includes:
- a spacious shelter for the tortoise
- a small “shelf” (e.g. for a thermometer)
- a round opening on top for placing a plant pot
- a decorative branch for a natural look
The model is quite large, so it is split into two parts, which are assembled using pins.
If you like it, feel free to download it for your own shelled friend 🐢
Notes
- Print in 2 parts
- Assemble with glue and pins (included)
- Recommended material: wooden PLA for realistic look
