EufyMake E1 Cartridge Refill Mod (Use at Your Own Risk)

This modification was developed following new findings related to refilling EufyMake E1 cartridges. Please note that cartridge refilling is not supported by the manufacturer, and you proceed entirely at your own risk.

Why This Mod Was Developed

After testing other community designs, I found that many fail to maintain the internal vacuum of the cartridge. This is a critical issue, as loss of vacuum can lead to:

• Nozzle drip / ink leakage at the print head
• Inconsistent ink flow
• Poor print quality over time

This design specifically addresses that problem by allowing the vacuum to be restored and maintained after refilling.

Please note - It is HIGHLY recomended to print using ABS filament as this is less reactive with resin

Recommended Refilling Method

1. Disassemble the Cartridge
   • Remove the outer shell.
   • Peel off the plastic sticker covering the top port.
2. Remove the Stopper
   • Carefully remove the stopper from the fill hole.
   • Keep this stopper safe — it will be reused.
3. Refill the Cartridge
   • Use a syringe with a blunt needle to inject ink slowly into the cartridge.
4. Reinsert the Stopper
   • Firmly replace the stopper to seal the cartridge.
5. Restore Internal Vacuum
   • Using a fine-bore needle and syringe, gently aspirate (draw out) air from the cartridge.
   • This step is essential to allow the internal spring mechanism to regulate pressure correctly and prevent nozzle drip.

Mod Features & Recommendations

• Improved Access Cover
  • This mod includes a removable cover panel that allows easier access to the stopper compared to other designs.
• Seal Enhancement
  • Apply a small piece of tape over the stopper to improve:
    • Airtightness
    • Light protection (helps preserve ink quality)
• Knob Attachment
  • The knob can be glued in place to make removing the cover panel easier and more consistent.
• Magnet Slot
  • A small hole is included in the cover to fit an 8 × 2 mm magnet.
  • This helps keep the filling sensor raised during operation.
