Description

AMS Speeder ~77% – Reduce Filament Loading Time!

This project is designed for users who do not use the AMS Flipper mod. I personally use an Riser with Diffused LED, and thanks to this solution there is no need to purchase an additional 4-pin 0.5 m extension cable.

The AMS Speeder helps optimize the filament path and can reduce filament loading time by up to ~77%, improving tool changes and making multi-color printing faster and more efficient.

Installation

The AMS Speeder includes additional protective TPU pads to prevent scratches on your Bambu Lab AMS during installation and daily use.

For assembly, you will need to cut PTFE tubes. Use a sharp cutter carefully and make sure each cut is perfectly straight.

Recommended PTFE tube lengths:

17.7 cm for the AMS output
23.4 cm for the buffer output

Bambu Studio Settings

To achieve faster print times, update the filament load/unload durations in Bambu Studio:

Prepare → Printer Settings → Basic Information → Filament Load/Unload Time

You can adjust these values to your preference. My personal settings are:

6 seconds for filament loading
8 seconds for filament unloading
