Description

This is a model of the Jonsbo D31's and D41's Top Front Panel Cover.

The original Front Panel Cover has too wide of a mesh and doesn't provide proper dust protection at all, especially since there is no dust-filter behind the cover, allowing both the front fan and the PSU to draw in plenty of dust over time.

Because of this and because i wanted to do some modifications to the panel, i decided to design a front panel that fits exactly the same as the original one but with a smaller mesh to double as a dust filter for the front of the case and allows me to mod it as much as i want without touching the original part.

I Printed this with Geeetech White PETG filament, which is a 100% match with the original white version of the Jonsbo D31 case.

The Model requires to be printed with supports, the supports do not need to be removed though, the panel fits just fine without removing them and they are not visible once the Panel is on the Case. If you want to remove the supports (for more space or aesthetic reasons, such as printing this cover in translucent filaments), i very much recommend using a Support-Filament such as the PLA/PETG Support from Bambu or PVA, otherwise it's pretty hard to get the supports out properly without damaging the part.

The Mesh itself can be changed right inside Bambu Studio, you can even print this as a solid part without any mesh at all.
To change the Mesh, just edit the “Mesh” objects Strength → Sparse Infill Parameter, you can change both the pattern and the density of the mesh there.
If you want to print this without a mesh, just delete the “Mesh” object altogether.

I also made the Bottom Cover that fits on the Jonsbo D31, you can find it in my other models.

This Model is for private use only, it's not allowed to sell printed versions of it.

Remixes are welcome ofcourse !
