Description

Fully 3D-printable 100:1 cycloidal speed reducer that bolts directly onto a NEMA 17 stepper. Compact two-stage compound design fits within the 42 × 42 mm motor footprint. 

 

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Bolt the enclosure to the stepper
  2. press fit the bearings into the cycloids
  3. press fit cycloids onto the shaft, placing the 11lobe cycloid on the shorter end of the shaft.
  4. press the shaft onto the stepper shaft noting the d shape of the shaft
  5. press the 2nd stage ring into its bearing
  6. press fit the bearing and 2nd stage ring into the enclosure
  7. screw the faceplate onto the enclosure
