Description

This mount provides a base for my Eufy solar-powered camera to sit outside of, and parralel to, my gutters. In this print, Eufy looks to the left. It is very sturdy. The base is elongated (150mm x 60.5) to fully support the long body of the camera. I created recesses for (4) m8 nuts and (2) m3 nuts.

The (4) m8 bolts screw into the part's inner cavity, “pinching” the inside lip of the gutter. I found that if you wiggle the part while tightening, you can get it really snug. The m3 nuts allow you to connect the camera's base to the printed part.

If I iterate this, I will probably add a negative slope opposite the camera mount to allow for further adjustment of the camera viewing angle up and down. Given how wide the viewing angle already is, this configuration works for me.
